Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Workforce Development Program Coordinator to join our team at Connecticut State Community College. This role will play a crucial part in planning, developing, and implementing courses for continuing education and workforce development programs with a focus on business, industry, computer skills, and IT areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to identify training needs and opportunities
  • Create and deliver high-quality training programs that meet the needs of local employers and employees
  • Manage program budgets and ensure effective use of resources
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for responsible programs
  • Collaborate with instructors and staff to develop and implement new programs and services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in business or industry
  • Experience in teaching or working in an adult learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Employment experience in related fields of business, computers, and IT
  • Proven ability to negotiate and navigate complex situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $39.44 hourly.
