Job Summary

Morton Comprehensive Health Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for handling front office reception and scheduling duties, including greeting patients, registration, answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating patient accounts and charts, and collecting patient payments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information
  • Schedule appointments and manage the patient schedule
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Collect patient payments and manage the patient account
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
Working Conditions

This position is located in a clinic-office environment and requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and have acute hearing. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
