Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be at the forefront of patient communications, listening and developing relationships with those who seek our quality, heartfelt care. You will be empowered to share your clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license, creating moments of care that make a difference in the lives of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, including techniques to ensure concerns are successfully resolved.
  • Use tools, data, and personal conversations to understand the community and common concerns, staying up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
