Job Title: Pharmacist Lead

 

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team at Regional One Health. As a pharmacist lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy department.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Clinical Consultation: Offer expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals, patients, and families on medication-related issues.
  • Operate Computerized Data Systems: Effectively utilize computer software to enter and retrieve patient information, monitor medication use, and track inventory levels.
  • Work Effectively with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Provide Education and Training: Conduct in-services for staff and other departments, as well as provide education and training to patients and families.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information, medication use, and other relevant data.
  • Stay Current with Professional Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and patient care.

 

Requirements:
  • Education: PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, with a strong focus on patient care and medication management.
  • License: Tennessee licensure as a pharmacist, with eligibility for licensure in other states as required.
  • Certification: Board certification in pharmacotherapy or other relevant areas, as applicable.
