Role Summary
The Vice President of Customer Engagement Strategy collaborates closely with the VP of Brand Strategy and the VP of Customer Experience Innovation to drive creativity throughout all stages of brand development. This position is responsible for translating brand strategies and target demographics into distinctive customer experiences, ensuring impactful engagement at critical interaction points. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader with a strong aptitude for identifying key intersections with target audiences throughout the healthcare journey, thereby informing comprehensive engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with account, creative, and brand strategy teams to orchestrate annual tactical brand planning, innovative brainstorming sessions, and the development of audience-centric engagement strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Provide training and support to the Marketing Innovation team and other departments, acting as the liaison for Public Relations and Social Media initiatives.
Team Development:
- Oversee, mentor, and guide the Engagement Strategy Designer, enhancing their role within the team.
Integrated Growth:
- Identify and convert client, brand, and agency opportunities into actionable strategies that lead to agency growth, increased organic revenue, and successful new business acquisitions.
Innovation & Development:
- Lead the creation of best practices, strategic frameworks, and processes with the support of cross-functional teams, industry contacts, and continuous evaluation of emerging platforms.
Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in advertising, marketing, business, psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in engagement strategy or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration across teams to develop programmatic ideas.
- Expertise in creating actionable target profiles and generating innovative concepts and programs.
- Skilled in omnichannel planning and execution, with established relationships in the media landscape.
- A recognized advocate for championing the agency's strategic processes and offerings in all engagements.
- Respected by clients and agency personnel for industry insights, meaningful perspectives, target analysis, and strategic contributions across all business areas.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and the design and implementation of unique market research methodologies.
- Familiarity with online collaboration tools.
- Exceptional skills in client presentations and engagement.
Work Environment
This position requires a minimum of two days per week on-site at a Calcium+Company office or client location.
