Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including instrument counts and sponge counts.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 6 months experience in a hospital operating room (preferred).
