Overview

This role operates in a hybrid format, requiring in-office attendance.

The incumbent will undertake a range of highly specialized and confidential administrative tasks related to account initiation documentation, monetary instruments, and compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. This includes responsibilities such as Account Review, Currency Transaction Reporting, Monetary Instruments Reporting, Unusual Activity Reporting, Customer Due Diligence, and Customer Identification Program.

Responsibilities
  • Review assigned reports meticulously, ensuring that all documentation for each account is complete and compliant with both departmental and federal regulations. Communicate with branches to rectify any inaccuracies or incomplete information. Monitor new accounts for missing information and take necessary actions if documentation is not provided. Escalate any suspicious activities to management.
  • Oversee cash sales of monetary instruments and daily reporting on these transactions. Scrutinize monetary instrument cash sales above a specified threshold and liaise with branches to correct any discrepancies. Request reports on monetary instrument activities and report any suspicious findings to the relevant department or management.
  • Ensure compliance in customer identification program data collection and communicate with branches regarding any missing data. Maintain organized records of missing information and follow up as needed.
  • Report any suspicious activities to management and assist in gathering documentation for unusual activity investigations.


Qualifications

Education

Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in Compliance is required. Experience in Banking is preferred.

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager

This position may involve additional responsibilities as assigned by management. All employees are expected to understand and act upon the contents of all company-assigned compliance programs, regulations, and policies. This includes recognizing compliance risks that may affect their departments and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations while escalating any compliance risks to the appropriate management level.

Pay Transparency

To enhance transparency for candidates, we disclose base salary ranges in all job postings. Salary ranges are established based on the position, function, and responsibilities, benchmarked against similar companies in our industry. Compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, work experience, and relevant credentials. Geographic location may also influence the salary range.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.18.
