**Job Summary**

We are looking for Servers, Bartenders, Food Runners, and Greeters to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

**Responsibilities**

**Servers:**

• Greet customers and welcome them to the concept

• Answer questions related to menu offerings and preparation methods

• Inform guests of specials and menu changes

• Maximize revenue potential through the up-selling of menu items

• Make recommendations you believe our guests will enjoy

• Ensure our customers have an enjoyable experience from the time they are seated until they complete their meal

• Ensure all orders are delivered without delay and with the highest quality standards

• Reset the tables/stations for service throughout the shift

• Perform opening/closing tasks

**Bartenders:**

• Assess our guests' needs and ensure they are comfortable by making recommendations on drink selections, menu items, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and providing outstanding friendly service at all times

• Responsible for full bar service, including wine, beer, and cocktails, at Rooftop, Undercroft, Preacher's Son, as assigned

• Be a first point of contact to handle guest queries by answering questions related to menu offerings and preparation methods

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, including bussing bar top, stocking ice, and keeping the bar area clean; running glasses through the glass washer, and taking out trash as needed

• Maximize revenue potential through the up-selling of menu items

• Reset the bar for service throughout the shift

• Monitor guest feedback and make product/service recommendations to meet guest needs

• Perform opening/closing tasks

**Food Runners:**

• Ensure each guest's food order is delivered promptly and without mistakes

• Organize food tickets and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure each course is distributed and ready in order

• Deliver the completed meals to the guests' table

• Follow all instructions from the expeditor or chef

• Sort and organize food tickets and communicate to the correct kitchen staff member

• Ensure each order is prepared to the restaurant's and guests' specifications before running food to the table

• Promptly deliver each course as it is prepared to the correct table and in order

• Ensure guest has proper side plate, napkins, and utensils

• Communicate clearly any additional orders or needs the guests may have to servers or expeditor/chef

• Communicate with servers as to the dining status of tables and replace silverware as needed

• Answer guest questions or listen to their concerns and share with server

• Remove guests' dirty dishes and utensils and deliver to the kitchen for cleaning

**Greeters:**

• Provide support, as needed, to Runners, Servers, and Bartenders to keep up with busy shifts

• Greet customers with a smile as soon as they walk through the door and thank guests as they depart

• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods

• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment

• Manage coat check process (if available)

• Seat guests and provide drinking water to tables as needed to ensure ideal speed of service

• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

• Be knowledgeable about food and beverage menu

• Be knowledgeable about events/programming on downtown square and sites to see

• In partnership with Management, rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff, as needed

**Requirements**

• 1+ years of front-of-house experience in fast-paced, energized dining environment (Server/Bar)

• 1 year of front-of-house experience in fast-paced, dining environment (Food Runner/Greeter)

• Available to work days, nights, and/or weekends

• Passion for hospitality and desire to create moments of joy for guests

• Professional and calm demeanor under pressure, and treat others with respect

• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Must have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask while being detail-oriented

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; walks and stands during entire shift

• Basic computer, reading, and mathematical skills
