Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Manager to join our team at HP. As a key member of our business leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering breakthrough insights that inform our hardware, solutions, and services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire business leaders to take customer-centric action and drive business results.
  • Design, execute, and deliver primary research programs, including qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Translate data and key findings into actionable insights that drive product strategy and innovation opportunities.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop a research and insights plan that includes a mix of agile and rigorous research methods.
  • Monitor market and industry trends, and share best practices with internal clients and external partners.
  • Collaborate with other data organizations to connect the dots and reveal a 360-degree view of customer needs and behaviors.
  • Provide relevant insights to improve campaign briefing and facilitate more valuable, differentiated marketing for consumer and office customers.
  • Provide competitive insights, intelligence, and recommendations to influence go-to-market planning and strategic marketing plan development and decisions.
Requirements
  • Foundational knowledge of market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Inspiring communicator who can integrate multiple data points into a compelling story.
  • Proven track record of managing research projects that reflect business priorities and link to short- and long-term goals.
  • Able to capture, analyze, and drive understanding of current and emerging customer and market trends.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Sets objective measures of success for self and project teams and continuously evaluates progress against objectives.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and growth mindset through ongoing adoption of best practices.
  • Knowledge of market research vendor management, agency practices, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge, including technologies, theories, and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of product management and marketing principles.
  • Ability to interface with senior executives.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, research, or equivalent experience; Master's level preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience executing qualitative and quantitative research methodologies that drove business results.
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $102,500 to $157,850 annually, with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). HP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term/short-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, life insurance, and generous time off policies.
