Our client is in search of a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Financial Accountant responsible for the preparation of financial statements and the analysis of data from their general ledger system. This position offers an opportunity to demonstrate your proficiency in Excel, reconciliation, and journal entries while providing extensive support to the Accounting department. Compensation will be commensurate with skills, experience, and location.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy of financial outcomes by preparing data for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles.
- Summarize current financial conditions by gathering information and creating spreadsheets and reports.
- Oversee expense report management (Concur), including necessary audits of reports.
- Maintain regional accounting records in accordance with the company's records retention policy.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks accurately, transitioning between them amidst frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
- Strong skills in General Ledger (GL) management.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
