Position Overview:

As a member of a field operations team, you will assist in gathering, assessing, and coordinating the necessary information to execute the project according to contractual specifications, ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards, meets scheduling requirements, and is completed to the highest quality standards.


Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Project Superintendent or Superintendents.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting line and grade work for site layout and control as needed.
  • Supporting the implementation of the site safety program.
  • Ensuring subcontractor adherence to Turner safety protocols and relevant safety regulations.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of contract documents and electronic records for field operations.
  • Helping prepare Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
  • Reviewing ongoing work to ensure accuracy within accepted tolerances.
  • Examining contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project as-builts.
  • Protecting and promoting Turner's interests in related matters.
  • Performing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of two years of college education from an accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Experience in building construction, engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, data entry, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling programs is desirable.
