Job Summary

The Project Engineer - Plumbing will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with plumbing design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial plumbing design as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, health care facilities, and commercial buildings.
  • Prior experience coordinating projects from start to finish with contractors, clients, and other disciplines.
  • Experience with Revit and other plumbing design software.
