Job Summary

The Electromechanical Field Technician is a key member of our team responsible for the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of automated storage systems equipment at our customers' sites in the USA and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and test automated storage systems and associated components
  • Lead the connectivity of automation hardware to the software environment
  • Resolve electromechanical issues and troubleshoot technical equipment
  • Coordinate and manage small teams of workers at customers' sites
  • Communicate with project managers and customers regarding project status and issues
  • Conduct quality assurance and safety tests on installed equipment and complete required documentation
  • Train customers on system and routine maintenance operations
  • Provide scheduled preventive maintenance and on-demand corrective maintenance services to customers

Requirements

  • 3 years of industrial maintenance or electromechanical experience preferred
  • Ability to travel (USA and Canada) 100% of the time
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Basic knowledge or familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing issues related to technical equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers and project managers
  • Ability and willingness to work variable hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ability and willingness to lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Spanish language fluency is a plus
