Senior Automation Engineer

At ESCO Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our Automation Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning automation systems using Rockwell PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems using Rockwell PLCs and HMIs.
- Program and test automation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Commission and start-up automation systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide technical support to clients during commissioning and post-project stages.
- Oversee automation projects from conception to implementation.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of directly related experience.
- Current valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- In-depth knowledge of Automation and Control products, including but not limited to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, Motion Control, SCADA Software, HMI, Networking, Sensors, Motion, Robotics, and Motor Control.
- PLC programming utilizing RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, FactoryTalk Studio software.
- Experience in applying automation technology to industries such as Industrial/OEM, Food and Beverage, Municipalities, Commercial, Oilseeds, Seed & Seed Research, etc. and applications such as conveyors, production lines, packaging equipment, etc.
