Position Overview
International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) is seeking a proactive Cost Accounting Specialist to enhance our financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage invoice processing and maintain accounts payable.
- Oversee inventory management and perform reconciliations.
- Handle payroll and fixed asset accounting.
- Conduct month-end closings and prepare financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate significant budget variances.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications; experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in generating financial reports, including budgets and forecasts.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with solid financial knowledge.

Education:
