Cafaro is looking for a dedicated Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that high-quality housekeeping and maintenance practices are consistently applied across the property.
  • Manage daily operations, including the upkeep of common areas, buildings, and grounds, while supervising external contractors to maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Assess maintenance needs for common areas and evaluate contractor bids to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of the maintenance team.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of roadways, parking areas, sidewalks, restrooms, landscaping, lighting, HVAC systems, and more.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in construction or building maintenance, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments, including construction sites.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and construction practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with tenants, vendors, and staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations as needed.
