You will utilize the casework process and principles to identify and address client needs, connecting them with community resources and fostering their action or adjustment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client situations, gathering medical, psychological, emotional, and social information.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to address client needs, setting goals and exploring options.
  • Collaborate with community resources to obtain assistance for clients, arranging appointments and establishing rapport with other agencies.
  • Provide individual and/or family therapy, as indicated, to support client growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • State of Michigan licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in social work or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as a Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association or equivalent through the Military Training Network (MTN).
