About the Role

**Job Summary**

The Lead Revenue Accountant will oversee revenue arrangements for multiple operating wind and solar projects, ensuring timely and accurate analytics and reporting. This role will work closely with Accounting Managers, Technical Accounting, and other Accountants to implement new or changes to the company's accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare revenue journal entries during the monthly close process and reconciliations of all related accounts.
  • Review and prepare invoices for offtakers, billing true-ups, and disputes.
  • Perform analytics on revenue results for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Review and prepare documents for PBC requests and research auditing firms' inquiries.
  • Ensure revenue processes and controls are in compliance with internal controls.
  • Other special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA is preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in preparation/audit of financial statements and applying internal controls necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leading projects or tasks.
  • Experience working in the electric energy industry preferred.
  • Experience with or in-depth knowledge of market operations of an ISO or RTO market preferred.
What We Offer

**Compensation and Benefits**

The expected starting pay range for this role is $98,000 - $120,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern Energy Group's compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses.
