Role Summary

As a Hydraulic Systems Engineer, you will specialize in designing, constructing, and commissioning fluid power systems tailored for various projects. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and project success through innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement fluid power systems in collaboration with the sales team to meet client specifications.
- Create hydraulic schematics, mechanical assembly layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop and standardize manufacturing processes for fluid power projects.
- Provide technical training and support to technicians regarding component application and assembly.
- Assist project planners in qualification and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and refine designs, conduct pilot runs, and facilitate customer acceptance testing.
- Offer start-up assistance for equipment and validate system designs.
- Innovate solutions to overcome sales challenges while maintaining technical expertise through ongoing training.

Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is advantageous.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in Fluid Power, with hands-on experience in Pumps, Valves, Filters, and Actuators.

Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to take ownership of complex technical issues.
