Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at TGI Friday's #2644 in Hollywood, FL. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive a Friday's Style dining experience characterized by a fun atmosphere and great tasting food and drinks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise operations during scheduled shifts, including daily decision-making and staff support while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shift.
  • Observe team member performance in delivering the Friday's guest experience, providing immediate feedback, coaching, development, and recognition.
  • Ensure all newly hired team members follow and complete their appropriate training plan.
  • Frequently interact with Guests ensuring that their experience is delivered in accordance with Friday's Service Style, and follows up on any issues or complaints they may have.
  • Conduct motivational staff meetings ensuring that team members are engaged and informed regarding Friday's food, beverage, promotions, etc.
  • Ensure great food is served to every guest.
  • Ensure ambiance of the restaurant is aligned with the Non-Negotiable Brand Standards (NNBS).
  • Conduct food safety and line checks to ensure food and beverage standards are met and executed safely.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including assigning bartender drawers and performing checkouts of servers and bartenders.
  • Approve food and beverage comps or promotions.
  • Check in deliveries from vendors, ensuring quality and proper billing.
  • Prepare end of shift reports.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
  • Assist with the completion of accident reports if a guest or employee is injured.
  • Ensure proper security procedures are adhered to, in order to protect team members, guests, and company assets.
Qualification Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Team Member and a Certified coach (internal).
  • Or one year of external restaurant experience with a college degree preferred (external).
  • Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for all hourly positions.
