The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and loading products to support our operations. You will also perform various warehouse activities, including processing products accurately and efficiently, executing ticket processes according to company compliance standards, and adhering to all security, control, and safety procedures established by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process products accurately and efficiently
- Execute ticket processes according to company compliance standards
- Adhere to all security, control, and safety procedures established by the organization
- Review orders for accuracy
- Identify quality control issues
- Comply with warehouse regulations and standards in the daily movement of products
- Maintain supply and equipment storage areas
- Attend and participate in staff meetings as required
- Train new associates as required
- Assist with bin location maintenance and ordering
- Assist in cycle count procedures
- Assist with proper rotation and/or condemn processes
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree or previous experience in a warehouse environment required
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Able to handle, feel and/or reach
- Able to effectively communicate with teammates and management including the ability to receive and deliver detailed instruction
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work all major events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
Working Conditions
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands and fingers, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
