Compounder - 1st Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Compounder to join our team at GXO Logistics. As a Compounder, you will be responsible for accurately mixing and blending various ingredients to create a variety of products according to precise formulas and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blend liquid and semi-solid bulk formulations
• Carry out batching instructions and process standards without deviations
• Identify proper materials and correctly batch using both loss in weight and gain in weight material additions
• Correctly maintain appropriate work documents
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service
• Correctly interpret and follow company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
• Safely operate various equipment and tools
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily production goals
• Catalog and track goods and/or supplies
• Adhere to the 5S program by maintaining a clean environment
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to do high school level math
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• 1 year of experience as a compounder or similar
• Knowledge of basic chemical principles and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting
• Knowledge or experience in an USEPA regulated manufacturing facility
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
• PIT experience

Physical Demands:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Pass a respirator physical and fit test
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
