Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the movement of yard and shuttle drivers, coordinating dock moves, and ensuring trailer pulls from various warehouses are completed efficiently. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to maintain accurate records and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage yard and shuttle drivers, ensuring timely and safe movement of trailers
  • Coordinate dock moves and trailer pulls from Fisher Road Plant, Landair Warehouse, and West Jefferson Warehouse
  • Maintain accurate records of trailer inventory and movement
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve mechanical and maintenance issues
  • Perform daily yard checks and annotate trailer locations
  • Manage inventory of essential items and secure gates when not in use
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • AS400 and Red Prairie experience a plus
