Position Overview

Are you an experienced tradesperson with a minimum of four (4) years in various skilled trades and two (2) years specifically in skilled trade functions? If so, we encourage you to explore this opportunity to join our team as a Skilled Trades Specialist.

The State of Connecticut is actively seeking a full-time professional for a role that involves a variety of maintenance and construction tasks.

Key Details:

  • Full-time | 37.5 Hours per week
  • Day Shift | 6:00 am – 2:00 pm

Responsibilities of the Skilled Trades Specialist include:

  • Executing complex maintenance and construction tasks that require expertise in multiple trade areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVACR, glazing, masonry, and painting.
  • Estimating time, labor, and materials needed for assigned projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
  • Conducting snow removal operations as necessary.
  • Operating trucks and power equipment as required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
