About the Role:
Fleet Feet is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to support the inventory needs of our company. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stores have the right products in stock, while also managing e-commerce orders, returns, and backstock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate receipt and storage of inventory in our stores
- Fulfill e-commerce orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized retail floor
- Transfer product between locations as needed
- Stage product for workplace fit events
- Organize and maintain backstock in a way that is easily accessible
Requirements:
- Available to work Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm
- Ability to manage administrative tasks, customer interactions, and a fast-paced environment while staying organized
- Builds and maintains trust with staff and customers through sound judgment
- Passionate, positive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Collaborative and customer-centric
- Willing to go above and beyond when needed
- Communicate professionally with customers and team

Additional Requirements:
- Hours of work may vary based on work schedule
- Position requires moving around for periods of 2-4 hours without a rest break
- Task sequencing, and using point-of-sale computers
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required
- Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces
