Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Connecticut Children's. As a nurse specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children from birth to 22 years of age.

Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to children with various medical conditions, including trauma, infections, and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
- A minimum of ASN/ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
- Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse Licensure required and maintained thereafter.
- American Heart Association, or American Red Cross, Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
