Lending Operations Transformation Lead

Duration: 12 months

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the design and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within our Lending Operations team. Experience with Loan IQ is essential, while familiarity with Flexcube is considered a plus.

The Lending Operations team is dedicated to supporting all lending activities for Corporate and Commercial clients globally. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the transformation efforts associated with the implementation of the new banking lending system, Loan IQ. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the strategic direction of the lending business as we transition from the traditional Flexcube processing environment to the Loan IQ platform.

The Lending Operations Transformation Lead will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing operational changes necessary for the successful implementation of Loan IQ, including integration with front office systems and processes.
  • Collaborating with technology teams to ensure new functions are developed and tested effectively.
  • Building strong partnerships across various operational areas, business leads, and technology teams to support the transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement necessary changes across Global Loan Operations to facilitate the transition to Loan IQ.
  • Utilize expertise in the Loan IQ platform to strategically guide teams in Secondary Trading, Agency, Non-Agency, and Bi-lateral operations.
  • Communicate effectively at senior levels to provide critical updates on program progress.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive UAT strategy, including coordination of lower-level environments.
  • Support collaboration between Lending Operations and Technology teams to enhance enablement and conversion efforts.
  • Assist in gathering requirements for enablement initiatives and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
  • Prepare status reports for senior management regarding progress across all Loan Operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in financial services or a related industry.
  • Background in platform transformation and an understanding of operational and financial impacts.
  • Experience with Loan IQ and/or Flexcube platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology for program execution.
  • Proficient in JIRA usage.
  • Proven experience in application implementation and system integration across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Project and program management experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assess complex issues, propose solutions, and drive resolutions with operations staff and senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with strong influencing skills, capable of managing diverse personalities at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work effectively to meet milestones on time and within budget in a high-pressure environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and industry-standard project management tools.
  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering is preferred.
