Position Overview:
The Laboratory Operations Supervisor role is an exceptional opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to manage the daily functions of our advanced research lab. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing laboratory activities, leading personnel, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing laboratory functions, including budget management, resource allocation, and staff supervision
  • Managing recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of lab personnel
  • Handling financial responsibilities related to research funding and grant applications
  • Coordinating administrative support for principal investigators
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory protocols
  • Providing training in specialized laboratory techniques to staff
  • Managing equipment maintenance and ensuring proper calibration
  • Organizing meetings and collaborative events within the lab
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new team members
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a research environment
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience is essential
