About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist at Buckner International, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking highly skilled professionals who can plan and implement respiratory therapy treatment programs that meet the unique needs of our senior adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory therapy plans for residents in various settings, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by physicians, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to create comprehensive care plans that address the complex needs of our residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible results.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment effects, adhering to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Texas is required, with a preference for certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred, with prior experience or training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy, as well as experience working with aging populations.
  • Proficient knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices, including documentation of patient treatments as required by federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to apply treatment modalities effectively under the direction of physician's orders, demonstrating a strong understanding of treatment protocols and resident needs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
