Overview

Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a 314-bed full-service acute care teaching hospital, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a highly technical and challenging PRN position, you will provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders.

Your Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. This includes performing evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing, communicating clearly and openly with patients and colleagues, and being accountable for your performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
  • NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
  • Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • At least 6 months of respiratory care experience

Salary and Benefits
