Role Summary: In the capacity of an HR Support Specialist, you will represent our Human Resources department, ensuring a positive first impression for all interactions. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of HR functions while managing front desk operations. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential, as you will frequently engage with our Spanish-speaking workforce and applicants.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for employees, guests, and candidates, delivering a friendly and professional reception.
- Manage and redirect phone calls, emails, and other inquiries to the relevant HR personnel.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including the preparation of necessary documents and scheduling orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring precision and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including organizing meetings, coordinating interviews, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in planning company events and activities aimed at enhancing employee engagement.
- Translate documents and communications between English and Spanish as required.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Prior experience in an HR support capacity is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of integrity and the ability to manage confidential information.
