IT Equipment Coordinator

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled IT Equipment Coordinator to join our Fulfillment Center team. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering and delivery of assets, and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate and maintain IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center.
- Organize and maintain spares inventory, RMA, and repair process for all devices under warranty.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support daily projects, tasks, and activities to ensure FC Operations run smoothly.
As an IT Equipment Coordinator, you will spend your day:
- Updating and resolving tickets in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular equipment audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assisting in procurement, receiving, and maintaining critical spares and proper inventory levels.
- Triage and repair defective equipment, processing RMAs.
- Assisting Operations with equipment readiness for start of shift.
- Working as part of the team implementing local and OTS projects.
- Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms.
- Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
- Experienced background with computers troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and schedule, including weekends, nights, holidays, and rotating shifts from days to nights.
- Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours at a time.
- Must be able to bend and lift equipment throughout the shift.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Experience in maintaining inventory levels, including storage and procurement.
- Experience troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laser printers and zebra printers.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
- Ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives.
