Job Summary
Montana State University is seeking highly qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach classes depending upon need and available funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching classes in a diverse University community
- Leading a seminar course of approximately 15-18 students
- Attending CLS faculty meetings to discuss texts and teaching pedagogy
- Working with student mentors and their corresponding program
- Holding regular office hours and meeting with students outside of class
- Participating in program and university assessment
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's Degree in the appropriate field
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse students and colleagues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic/professional experience
- Demonstrated experience teaching interdisciplinary courses
- Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity
