Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions using the dealership's computer system.
  • Receive payments in cash, checks, and credit cards, accurately recording amounts on repair orders or counter tickets.
  • Provide correct change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the appropriate departments, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Address customer complaints with diplomacy and refer them to the right personnel for resolution.
  • Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently.
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, minimizing hold times.
  • Assist management with various clerical tasks as required.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal procedures to assist customers effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to convey customer interests, needs, and requests to management and sales teams.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Clean driving record.
