Key Responsibilities
- Accurately calculate customer bills using the dealership's computer system.
- Process cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, ensuring accurate recording on the appropriate documentation.
- Provide change and issue receipts to customers with precision.
- Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the correct department, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Address customer complaints with professionalism and refer them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently.
- Communicate with callers in a friendly and professional manner, aiming to minimize hold times.
- Assist management with various clerical tasks as required.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal processes to assist customers effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to convey customer interests and needs to management and sales teams.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Clean driving record.
