Shift Lead

The Shift Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital, providing exceptional client service, and supporting the veterinary team in delivering high-quality care to pets.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Practice Manager in developing and implementing hospital protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of paraprofessional staff, including veterinary assistants and technicians, to ensure seamless workflow and optimal productivity.
- Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure accurate and timely completion of medical procedures, including surgery and laboratory work.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including medical charts, inventory management, and quality control measures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices.
- Associate's degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure preferred.
- Two years of experience in a healthcare or veterinary setting, with six months of experience at Banfield preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience and medical background with medical terminology training preferred.
