Job Title: Pet Shelter Animal Care Professional

Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the well-being and care of animals in our pet shelter. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with the Pet Shelter Manager to maintain a clean and organized environment, manage animal records, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and exercise.
  • Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized facility, including kennels, play areas, and administrative spaces.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record and report animal health and vaccination information.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions and scheduling appointments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in animal care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
