Kettering Health seeks a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in the lives of patients.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients with communication disorders, developing personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals. A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required, along with licensure by the State of Ohio and certification from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to multitask, and possess knowledge of therapy equipment and documentation systems.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine the extent of communication disorders and develop targeted treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including speech therapy sessions, and document progress in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise students, rehab aides, and volunteers as needed, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
