Role Summary

The Dental Clinic Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers alike. This position is pivotal in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Registering new patients by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information.
  • Coordinating and scheduling appointments to optimize provider availability.
  • Greeting patients and ensuring accurate check-in procedures.
  • Processing payments and managing patient accounts efficiently.
  • Handling incoming inquiries from potential patients regarding services.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Appointment Management: Maintain an organized schedule for providers, ensuring timely patient access and adherence to payment policies.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Uphold high standards of service by warmly welcoming patients and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with incoming calls, register patients accurately, and manage follow-up communications.
  • Referral Coordination: Schedule and monitor referrals, ensuring a smooth process for patients.
  • Reporting: Generate necessary reports to track patient care and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a dental practice.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
