Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties Include:
Advising
- Provide comprehensive academic and career guidance to online business students through various communication channels.
- Assist students in formulating academic and career objectives.
- Track and evaluate academic performance, including monitoring probation and honors.
- Act as a liaison to essential student services for online business students.
- Utilize institutional databases and systems for student records management.
- Advise students within designated cohorts throughout the academic year.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for student progress.
- Implement strategies to enhance student retention.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure student support.
- Work with admissions teams as necessary.
Enrollment Services
- Coordinate with admissions leadership to streamline the transfer admissions process.
- Utilize applicant management systems for reviewing applications and communicating decisions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Evaluate applicants for program eligibility.
- Respond to inquiries regarding admissions through multiple platforms.
- Maintain admissions data and generate reports as needed.
- Manage online presence related to admissions information.
- Participate in recruitment events as required.
- Create promotional materials to attract prospective students.
Administrative Duties | Team Collaboration | Miscellaneous
- Participate in regular administrative meetings and evaluations.
- Engage in college-level committees and support teams.
- Seek professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall mission of the Business School.
- Facilitate events for both online and on-campus students.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
- This position is fully remote.
- Participation in occasional evening or weekend events may be required.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $52,500
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field and one year of applicable experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in education, business administration, or counseling.
- Prior experience in admissions or student advising.
- Knowledge of business education principles.
- Familiarity with academic advising systems.
- Proficiency in standard office software and communication tools.
