We are seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Technician to join our team at UPS. As a Seasonal Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and diagnosing and repairing issues with gas and diesel-powered engines, hydraulic and air brake systems, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance and preventive maintenance on all Ground Support Equipment
- Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals, and remove, test, repair or replace components and accessories
- Operate and test ground equipment for performance assessment
- Document repairs, parts, and labor on the computer
- Documented ground support equipment and fleet/automotive experience
- Documented air brakes experience
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computer
- Possess a full complement of personal hand tools
- Meet D.O.T requirements
- Ability to work flexible work schedules and one day of the weekend
- Weekly pay
