About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Technician to join our team at UofL Health. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment throughout our medical campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of medical equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to maintain optimal stocking levels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of medical equipment into patient care.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Some medical equipment experience preferred.
