CREDIT OPERATIONS MANAGER
City National Bank is in search of a Credit Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the workflow and activities associated with the underwriting and credit assessment functions. This position entails managing credit oversight processes for both portfolio management and loan originations, as well as assessing and monitoring new and existing portfolios for potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and prioritize the credit underwriting process.
- Assess and determine the creditworthiness of loan applications.
- Analyze financial statements, credit documentation, and loan structures.
- Engage in collaborative discussions with Relationship Managers.
- Continuously monitor and assess the credit quality of both new and existing commercial loans.
Team Leadership:
- Design and implement training programs for team members.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to staff.
- Manage hiring, termination, and counseling of team members as necessary.
Administrative Duties: Prepare for and engage in audits and examinations.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in credit administration and portfolio management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of credit analysis, accounting principles, and financial statement evaluation.
Compensation:
Starting base salary: $141,830 - $263,408 annually. Eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
