Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with other members of the healthcare delivery team to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement processes to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Support and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification and NRP within six (6) months from date of hire or transfer to L&D.
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Practices and Principles must be obtained within eight (8) months from date of hire or transfer to L&D.
- Labor and delivery, obstetrics and gynecology, and postpartum experience.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
