The Senior Early Childhood Educator (non-credentialed role) focuses on supporting children aged 0 to 3 years who are experiencing developmental challenges, behavioral issues, and autism spectrum conditions within the early intervention and preschool framework.

This position entails establishing a structured setting with activities customized to meet each child's developmental and behavioral requirements. By employing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, the emphasis is placed on enhancing speech and language skills, motor abilities, sensory processing, and social engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customized lessons aligned with the program's philosophy
  • Evaluate children's development and formulate individualized educational plans

  • Oversee the work of teacher assistants

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in educating young children or those with developmental challenges
  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with Spanish is advantageous but not essential

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving history
  • Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education units, including Infant/Toddler Care
  • Expertise in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
