We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor II to join our team at the State of Illinois. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical and legal expertise to support our regulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigations to determine statutory compliance and provide legal analysis and advice on various matters.
- Represent staff before Administrative Law Judges and provide legal advice to the Commission on various matters.
- Review legislation, analyze proposed legislation, and advise on legislative initiatives.
- Represent the Commission before the courts on matters resulting from Commission action or other matters affecting the Commission.
To be successful in this role, you will need a law degree and a license to practice law in the State of Illinois, as well as extensive knowledge of the personal computer and its related software programs and applications. You will also need superior oral and written English communication skills.
