Job Description

We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to serve as a team lead in our So Sacramento Hospital North - Mental Hlth/Psych-Behavioral department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program, including administrative and client caseload responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Makes budget recommendations and provides input into hiring decisions with veto authority;
  • Responsible for staffing various programs, coaching staff, and providing input into performance evaluations;
  • Monitors access indicators and responsible for utilization management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist;
  • PhD, PsyD, or EdD in clinical or counseling psychology required from an accredited college or university;
  • Licensed Psychologist (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire;
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards as it relates to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.
