Job Description:

As a Psychiatrist with DirectShifts, you will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients using thorough interviews and mental status examinations
  • Developing individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities
  • Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • A valid medical license in California State
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
