Restaurant Operations Manager

At Chicken Salad Chick - 02, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results through others, providing an engaging environment for restaurant teams and guests, and focusing on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Ambassador: Serve as a representative of Chicken Salad Chick, embodying our culture and values.
- Policy Adherence: Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Product Quality: Ensure that all products are consistently prepared and served according to CSC standards.
- Performance Management: Achieve identified objectives for sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and by creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Cash Handling: Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Operational Support: Operationally fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Staff Development: Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare all required paperwork, forms, and reports in an organized and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures.
- Leadership: Sets clear expectations on shift and creates a working environment and serves as a role model to create memorable guest experiences.
- Problem-Solving: Takes actions to solve and celebrates guest feedback.
- Compliance: Monitors compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, security, and fire policies, standards, and regulations.
- Disciplinary Actions: Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organization Skills: Excellent organization skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of back office tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and master new computer software.
Education and Experience:
- Related Experience: One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting: Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Standing and Mobility: Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday.
- Work Environment: Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen or service area.
