Job Summary:The Registered Nurse Medical ICU will be responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer
